Chinese car giant Geely among Aston Martin’s three biggest shareholders. Though Geely has received plaudits for its careful stewardship of Swedish car-making royalty Volvo, its ownership of UK-based Lotus sports cars has been less successful, and has resulted in some of its models being made at a factory in Wuhan.
