U.S. trade deficit in 2023
U.S. trade deficit fell in 2023 to the lowest level in 3 years
In December, the trade gap widened by 0.5% to $62.2 billion.
For the full year, imports declined 3.6% from a record $3.65 trillion in 2022.
U.S. exports also rose 1.2% in December to a $258.2 billion, clinching a record high in 2023.
