The Case-Shiller 20 index shows that prices rose in July.
They also rose year-on-year, and are virtually back to their all-time peak.

Supply has much to do with this. Homeowners with an affordable mortgage fixed for many years into the future have zero incentive to sell

U.S. home prices rose in July, Case-Shiller says
The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller 20-city house price index rose 0.9% in July, as compared with the previous month. Prices were up for the sixth month in a row.
On a year-over-year basis, home prices in the 20 major metro markets in the U.S. were up 0.1% nationally.
