Putin poised to retake Russian presidency
With 30% of the votes counted Sunday night, Putin had 63.44% of the
vote, more than enough for him to avoid a runoff.
His closest challenger, Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov, had 17.23%;
the other three candidates were in the single digits.
