Yemen's Houthis announce 'maritime embargo' on Saudi Arabia
The Iran-backed group's military spokesman said it would begin immediately and was in retaliation for a Saudi blockade of ports and airports in Houthi-controlled north-western Yemen.
Houthi media official said they were closing the Bab al-Mandab Strait - the Red Sea's southern gateway - to Saudi vessels.

US inflation remains elevated, with a broad range of underlying measures ranging from 2.4% to 3.3%. Inflation has exceeded the central bank’s 2% objective for more than five years.
When this is the case, monetary policy should be restrictive. There is little evidence that US monetary policy is currently restrictive.
