The answer to the question “Where will the jobs come from?”
You’ve heard the fear of AI destroying jobs.
During the Industrial Revolution, you actually had all sorts of destruction of all sorts of suboptimal jobs that were no longer needed and that allowed people to create more wealth, that allowed you to do more with less and it allowed our society to succeed.
Automobiles decimated the horse carriage industry, including the people who took care of the horses, their drivers and all the things that went along with them.
Automation took us from a time when 80% of the people were involved in agriculture to 2% today.
The answer to the question “Where will the jobs come from?” is “I don’t know, but they will!”
That has always been the answer, and it has always been the correct answer.
