Till min glädje har nu Basel-banken, BIS, kommit fram till samma sak. I dag, den 9 mars 2014, läser jag i Financial Times:
- Efforts by central banks to spur economic recovery by providing guidance on what will happen to interest rates could endanger the global financial system, economists at the Bank for International Settlements have warned.
- Investors are being encouraged to load up on risk because they believe forward guidance will warn them well in advance about any rise in interest rates, according to research published by the Basel-based institution known as the central bankers’ bank.

Jag inbillar mig naturligtvis inte att jag är den förste som har kommit på denna egentligen självklara sanning. Men det är kul att varna innan BIS gör det.
Men varför gör då centralbankerna detta som alla måste inse vara fel?
Därför att dom är DESPERATA.
Vad skall dom annars göra när de redan har sänkt räntan till noll och det ändå inte blir bättre?

Minsky's main idea is so simple that it could fit on a T-shirt, with just three words:
"Stability is destabilising."

The economic literature has long described the distorting effects: a hall-of-mirrors problem.
If markets rely materially on the Fed's guidance and the Fed relies on market prices, we are all more likely to be blinded to new developments . . . more likely to be caught unprepared for a turn of events . . . and more likely to commit errors in policymaking.
