For the year 2024 the US trade deficit increased to $918 billion; 9.997 miljarder kronor

The U.S. trade deficit grew again at the end of last year

That took the deficit for December to $98.4 billion, up 25% from $78.2 billion in November, Commerce Department data showed.

For the year as a whole, the deficit in trade with the rest of the world increased to $918 billion, from $785 billion a year earlier.
