Italy sells interest-free bonds as investors bet on ECB action

 The ECB’s support has encouraged investors to set aside concerns about Rome’s huge debt pile — expected to swell to more than 150 per cent of economic output this year — 

to focus on the extra yield they can capture by buying Italian bonds rather than ultra-safe German debt.
