Om man vill göra EU till en federation bör man först fråga folket
Magdalena Andersson, Sweden’s finance minister, said on Tuesday 20200519 : “We will be constructive partners in this discussion as well, but at the same time we will co-operate with the ‘frugal four’. There are big question marks when it comes to borrow for spend and whether it is allowed with EU treaties.”
Olaf Scholz, Germany's finance minister, said the EU was approaching its "Hamilton moment” - in reference to the first US Treasury Secretary who in 1790 turned the US into a fiscal union by converting state debt to federal debt.
His French counterpart Bruno Le Maire called the deal a “historic step for France and Germany and also a historic step for the whole European Union”.
But some northern European states are digging their heels in. Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz said that he and his counterparts in the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden would only accept a rescue fund that dished out loans.

Tyskland har motsatt sig att den sortens ekonomiska makt flyttas till Bryssel. Men Frankrike har kampanjat för och vinner nu gehör. Det är historiskt.
Det handlar inte, som tidigare, om nödkrediter utan riktiga bidrag till drabbade medlemsländer och branscher. Merkel och Macron betonar att satsningarna ska vara klimatvänliga.
Vad skulle en mäklarannons inte avslöja om läget i bostadsrättsföreningen EU? Att renoveringsbehovet växer. Medlemmarna är i kris. Grannsämjan håller på att vändas i bitterhet.
Att fortsätta som förr kanske inte är hållbart.

Jag vill inte ha en federativ utveckling. Svenska folket har inte gått med i en federation.
Logiken i det hela rör sig i federativ riktning...
